The Cumberland Times News reports West Virginia Department of Natural Resources police "are investigating a fatality," said Samantha Smith, director of marketing and communications for the West Virginia Department of Commerce, via email on Friday. According to the Hampshire Review, the victim was a 78-year-old man hunting in Hampshire County who died from a fall from a tree stand Thursday night.
