The Western Maryland Health System is one of 10 health care organizations in Maryland, Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C. to be awarded a grant from CareFirst to improve access to health care services through telemedicine.  WMHS will receive $100,000 to serve patients with chronic health conditions through remote monitoring and virtual video consultations with health professionals.
