On Saturday, Cumberland Police responded to an assisted living residence on Ridgewood Avenue for the report of a disturbance.
When officers arrived, contact was a female victim who told officers that she assaulted by Levi Wayne Logsdon and he stole her cell phone. The female also told police that she had a court order against Logsdon that prohibited him from contacting her. The court order was confirmed to be active and Logsdon was located a short time later and placed under arrest.
A search of his person was conducted and the victim’s cell phone was recovered. Logsdon was charged with burglary, assault, theft, and, violating a protective order. He was taken before the District Court Commissioner and was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center held without bond.
