On December 20^th, 2017 at approximately 3:00 PM Deputies of the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 14000 block (Cresaptown) of McMullen Highway for a reported vehicle crash.

Investigation revealed that 29 year old Lisa Delange of Cumberland, MD.  lost control of her vehicle while traveling N/B on McMullen Highway. The vehicle left the roadway and struck a power/phone pole, shearing it off. The vehicle became stuck on the broken pole base. Rt. 220 was closed for a short time. Potomac Edison and utilities responded and the vehicle was eventually removed.

Cresaptown Fire and EMS responded to the scene.  Cresaptown Ambulance transported Delange to Western Maryland Regional Medical Center for apparent non-life-threatening injuries.
