Allegany County Commissioner Bill Valentine tells WCBC News that he has finally received assurances from state representatives and the local board of education that the county will be re-imbursed for any funding it might have to front for the state for the new Allegany High School project. Valentine had been balking at signing off on any arrangement that would require county dollars to cover the state- unless a written pay back schedule was signed off on as well. Valentine said he met with the local delegation and the school board Thursday in Annapolis and he came away from that meeting satisfied that the county will be protected…
