Two people have been taken to Western Maryland Regional Medical Center as the result of smoke inhalation from a house fire at 141 Polk Street in Cumberland Monday morning. 

Allegany County 911 sent eight companies to fight the fire, which was called in at 9:43 AM with smoke showing.
