On Monday, October 24, 2017 at approximately 2:30 PM, the Cumberland Police Department responded to the area of Baltimore Street and Queen City Drive in reference to an assault that just occurred. Upon the officers’ arrival, they contacted a subject who reported that someone just attempted to strike him and his friends with a vehicle. The subject explained that he and his friends had an argument with the operator of the vehicle because they had told him not to enter a parking lot where it was an exit only. The operator was identified as Daniel Wolff. The subject stated that he punched Wolff twice and the argument continued. The subject advised that Wolff then attempted to run them over with his vehicle. Officers contacted another subject who was involved. He was identified as Cam’Ron Porter. Porter stated that Wolff attempted to run him over when he kicked the vehicle. Officers contacted Wolff. Wolff’s vehicle had sustained approximately $2,000 in damages. Surveillance video showed Wolff’s vehicle travel directly for the subject and his friends, causing them to have to jump out of the way. It also showed Porter kicking the vehicle. Wolff and Porter were placed under arrest and transported to the police station for processing. They were taken before the District Court Commissioner for bond hearings. Wolff was held at the Allegany County Detention Center without bail. Porter was held at the Allegany County Detention Center on a $250 bond. There are charges pending for another subject involved with the incident.

CHARGES: Malicious Destruction of Property $1,000+, Disorderly Conduct
