Another rate hike is on the way for Total Access subscribers to the Cumberland Times News.
According to a letter dated August 1st, but only reaching many customers this weekend, the price is going up to $21.99 for seven day and $20.99 for weekend subscribers in Maryland. The daily hike represents a 22% increase.
The price is also going up for subscribers across the river,, at $20.75 for seven day and 19.80 for weekend subscribers in West Virginia.

Well if people can spend 4.99 for a pint of ice cream the paper is a bargain. One town I know has 1 paper a week. The CTNews is a blessing especially to those who do not have a computer. Yes there are people who don’t. I am concerned that not only our paper but many papers will go like the Dinosaur. Very sad.
