WCBC News has received this update from Todd Bowman, Public Information Office for Allegany County Emergency Services:
It was brought to our attention several minutes ago that there is a social media post reporting a mayday situation with a firefighter trapped in the basement at a fire scene in Frostburg. This is just a DRILL. Frostburg Fire Department along with their mutual aid agencies are participating in the training exercises on Maple Street.
Again, emphasizing this is just a drill.
