In Annapolis this week, a Senate committee takes up the issue of student testing, and whether students take too many standardized tests. Among the bills the Senate Education Health and Environmental Affairs Committee considers today a measure to limit the amount of classroom instruction time devoted to standardized testing to just 2-percent, or 20 hours per year.
