As the Allegany County Board of Education looks for ways to get its fiscal house in order, board vice president Sara Beth Bittinger says revisiting the idea of school redistricting could provide some answers. She says that there are some cases where students who reside on the same street are attending different schools- and it’s not an efficient way to operate.
