Authorities in Allegany County are looking for a hit-and-run driver who struck a school bus with five students on board. Sheriff's Deputy Darrell Wildesen says no injuries were reported in the collision Friday morning on Route 36 in Lonaconing. The bus was carrying students to Mountain Ridge High School in Frostburg. Wildesen says it was hit by a black car at about 7:15 a.m. Allegany County Public Schools spokeswoman Dixie Heavener says the incident delayed delivering the students to school.
