Maryland Lt. Governor Boyd Rutherford said this week that state officials are not putting a timeline on when restrictions put in place in response to COVID-19 could be relaxed. Rutherford acknowledged the burden the closures and directives from Governor Larry Hogan have placed on Maryland residents and businesses- and he said he also is aware that the differing guidelines coming from the federal and state governments can lead to confusion on issues such as what businesses are considered “essential”.
