Allegany County 911 reports that Maryland Route 51 has been shutdown due to a vehicle accident at Opessa Street in Oldtown.

Maryland State Police and Fire and EMS units were on the scene of the mishap, which occurred after 7 PM.

Utility lines were also reported to be down.
