Rocky Gap Casino Resort, located at 16701 Lakeview Road NE in Rocky Gap State Park, has announced a high-energy live music lineup for summer, with an array of musicians from rappers to rockers hitting the stage from Saturday, June 29 through Saturday, Sept. 14.
Rockin’ Resort Summer Concert Series includes:
Amish Outlaws, Amphitheater, Saturday, June 29. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and show begins at 7 p.m., starting at $15
Three out of the six members of The Amish Outlaws were born and raised with a strict Amish upbringing. No electricity from land lines, no alcohol, no musical instruments, but their spirits were too wild for the Amish lifestyle. In the years since leaving on Rumspringa, the members of The Amish Outlaws have become very well acclimated to the pleasures and vices of the modern world… music, most of all. Tickets and additional information on Amish Outlaws’ concert may be found here.
Vanilla Ice and Coolio, Amphitheater, Saturday, July 20. Gates open at 3 p.m. and show begins at 5 p.m., starting at $20
Known as one of the most iconic duos of the 90s, Vanilla Ice and Coolio will once again take the stage together during Rocky Gap’s Summer Concert Series. Coolio is best known for his anthem, “Gangsta’s Paradise,” which is one of the most successful rap songs of all time, reaching number one in 13 countries. He also has earned a Grammy for Best Solo Performance for “Gangsta’s Paradise” and an American Music Award for Favorite Rap/Hip Hop Artist in 1996.
Vanilla Ice held the first hip hop single on the Billboard charts with “Ice Ice Baby” and is credited as one of the first white rappers to attain major success. He won American Music Awards in 1991 for Favorite Pop/Rock New Artist and Favorite Rap/Hip Hop New Artist. Tickets and additional information on Vanilla Ice and Coolio’s concert may be found here.
Skid Row, Driving Range, Saturday, Aug. 17. Gates open at 3 p.m. and show begins at 8 p.m., starting at $20
Heavy metal band Skid Row made a splash in 1991 with their album “Slave to the Grind,” which achieved number one on the Billboard 200 chart. Their performances with musical legends including Mötley Crüe, Aerosmith, White Lion, Guns N’ Roses, Poison and Kiss made them a popular live band. Tickets and additional information on Skid Row’s concert may be found here.
Warrant, Driving Range, Saturday, Sept. 14. Gates open at 3 p.m. and show begins at 8 p.m., starting at $25
Celebrating the success of their first two-time platinum album, “Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich,” that debuted 30 years ago, Warrant will close out Rocky Gap’s Summer Concert Series with upcoming “Dirty 30 Tour.” In addition to tracks from their first album, including their acclaimed hit “Heaven,” Warrant is expected to perform popular singles from all albums, such as “Cherry Pie” and “Uncle Tom’s Cabin.” Tickets and additional information on Warrant’s concert may be found here.
