According to a recent study, as population rises, Americans see their freedoms erode, their environment degrade and their “quality of life” diminish on multiple levels. A report issued recently indicates that when a community’s population sees dramatic growth- that growth is accompanied by more pollution, crime, traffic gridlock and a reduction in the quality of education. Delegate Wendell Beitzel told local business leaders last week that those are some of the concerns facing rural lawmakers when looking at the potential for economic development. Huh? We’ve been losing population and jobs. How ’bout we just make up we’ve lost? And the good ol’ prisons have brought plenty of crime.

I don’t believe population has anything to do with the troubles we are having. The lack of moral codes have added to it. Also this being the day before the National Day of Prayer..I would say God is missing in the lives of many. Satan has taken over and if you can’t see that by reading the paper, watching TV and hearing the radio then something is wrong. This country was founded with the idea of IN GOD WE TRUST. He has been pushed to the back corner. I agree with Patrick, also.
