During an event in Baltimore this past weekend, Representative Elijah Cummings told reporters that he did not have time for those who trash the city. At the grand opening of a nature place space in Baltimore, Cummings told reported that he welcomes president to his city. The remarks come after a week of criticisms made by President Donald Trump about Cummings and Baltimore city. Last Saturday, Trump tweeted that Cummings' district "is a disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess," adding that "if he [Cummings] spent more time in Baltimore, maybe he could help clean up this very dangerous and filthy place."
