Baltimore Ravens cornerback Tray Walker has died from injuries he suffered in a motorbike crash in Miami on Thursday night.Walker's agent Ron Butler confirmed to NFL.COM that Walker died on Friday.
The Ravens confirmed the news Friday night
He was 23.
Miami-Dade Police confirmed that Walker was critically injured when his motorbike collided with a SUV at a Miami intersection. He was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Police said the dirt bike Walker was riding had no lights and that he was wearing dark clothing at the time of the crash. Police are continuing their investigation of the incident.
Walker was drafted in the fourth round of last year's NFL Draft.
Walker played in eight games for the Ravens last season. He recorded one solo tackle from scrimmage, but competed mostly on special teams.
A native of Miami, Walker attended Miami Northwestern High School and then played college football at Texas Southern.
