A report by ESPN's "Outside the Lines" indicates, "A pattern of misinformation and misdirection employed by the Ravens and the NFL," with regard to the handling of the Ray Rice domestic violence case.
The report is based on interviews of more than 20 sources, including team officials, and current and former league officials, the NFL Players Association, and friends and advisers of Rice.
Among the findings in the ESPN report, the Ravens Director of Security Darren Sanders heard a detailed account from Atlantic City Police, of what happened on the morning of February 15, inside an elevator of an Atlantic City casino, where Rice punched his then fiancée Janay. Sanders shared the findings with team officials.
