A fall rabies clinic will be held Saturday, Oct. 8, from 9-11 a.m. in the parking lot at Tractor Supply in Keyser. Vaccination fee is $8 and pet owners are asked to bring the correct change. County tags will not be sold at this clinic. West Virginia state law requires that all dogs and cats be vaccinated for rabies by the age of 6 months and every three years thereafter. Mineral County humane officers Melissa Kidwell and Daniel Miller are in charge of the clinic, and staff from Mountainview Veterinary Services will be administering the vaccine.
