Prince Georges County man sentenced for involvement in local armed robbery

The Office of State’s Attorney for Allegany County Maryland announced the sentencing of Marcellus Vincent Hall, 19, from Prince George’s County, Maryland, was sentenced to 10 years in the Department of Corrections following his conviction of Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery.  The conviction stemmed from Hall’s arrest on January 22nd, 2017 along with Damon Proctor, 20, on charges of Armed Robbery and Attempted First Degree Murder.  Both Hall and Proctor were arrested shortly after the event where one person was shot in the leg.  The motive behind the robbery was drug related. In addition to 10 years in the Department of Corrections, Hall was given an additional 10 years suspended and will be placed on three years supervised probation upon his release from prison. The case was prosecuted by Michael O. Twigg, State’s Attorney.  Sean P. Gallagher represented Hall.  The Honorable Judge Timothy Finan presided over the hearings.
