The Maryland Emergency Management Agency is monitoring a storm system predicted to generate rain, high winds and cause power outages.
Marylanders should prepare now for a storm front that is expected to bring rain and possibly damaging winds across much of the state later tonight through Saturday. The National Weather Service is predicting wind gusts of up to 60 miles per hour, MEMA reports.
The agency is coordinating with state and local partners to ensure readiness.
