Much of Maryland will get some snow on the first day of spring. The National Weather Service reports that a push of cold air coming in will interact with a strong jet stream to the south to generate a new storm on the coast that will likely start impacting Maryland by Saturday evening. The forecast indicates a mix of rain and snow could start Saturday night, and it will probably be snowing in much of the Baltimore area by Sunday morning. During the day, the snow will likely mix with rain south and east of town before going back to all snow Sunday night and into Monday morning. Much of Maryland could end up with several inches of snow by Monday morning.
