On June 27, 2019 Cumberland City Police served an arrest warrant on Rosemary Neva Irene Hazard, age 46 of Cumberland, Maryland. On June 4, 2019 officers from the Cumberland City Police Department responded to the Downtown Mall for an assault complaint. Officers arrived in the area and contacted a female victim. The victim told police that she was walking along the downtown mall when she was confronted by Hazard. Hazard pushed, shoved and slapped the victim. The victim also stated that Hazard threatened to burn her house down. As a result of this incident, the victim applied for charges at District Court. Hazard was transported to the Cumberland City Police Department for processing. Hazard was processed, served and taken before the District Court Commissioner. Hazard was held in the Allegany County Detention Center without bond.

Charges: 2nd Degree Assault, Disorderly Conduct, Disturbing the Peace and Arson/Threat.
