On Sunday December 7, 2014, Cumberland City Police served an arrest warrant on Paul Harman, age 32 of Cumberland. The warrant issued as a result of a December 3, 2014 Breaking and Entering investigation that occurred at a private residence on Elm Street. Investigation revealed that Harman allegedly broke open a window to the unoccupied residence where he made entry inside. Harman was located by the property owner asleep and when awakened, he left without further incident. Harman was processed, served and taken to the Allegany County District Court Commissioner’s Office for a bond hearing and held on a $7,500.00 bond at the Allegany County Detention Center.

CHARGES: Burglary 4th Degree, Malicious Destruction of Property.
SUMMONS SERVICE
On Sunday December 7, 2014, Cumberland City Police served a criminal summons on Jeff Malcom, age 26 of Oldtown, Maryland. The summons was issued as a result of Malcolm allegedly violating a Protective Order as he contacted the victim on separate occasions between November 18th and 19th 2014. Malcolm was served and released pending trial at the Allegany County District Court.
