Disturbance/Alcohol Violation Arrest
On September 21, 2015 Cumberland Police Officers responded to the 100 block of Oak Street for a report of a disturbance. Upon their arrival they located several people on the street. Officers were approached by a witness who pointed out Marquis Blowe as the subject causing a loud disturbance in the area. Blowe was arguing with his Mother and was advised by the Officers to stop yelling and causing a disturbance several times. Blowe continued to yell and divert the attention of citizens in the area after being advised to stop yelling. Blowe was then placed under arrest and transported to the Cumberland Police Department. Blowe was issued a Criminal Citation for Disturbing the Peace. While at the Police Department, Officers smelled a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on the breath and person of Blowe. He was also issued a Civil Citation for Underage Possession of Alcohol. Blowe was released at the Police Department and is awaiting trial in District Court.
