On March 22, 2015 Cumberland City Police served a Grand Jury Indictment warrant on Kody Bronson Smith, age 22 of Oldtown, Maryland. The warrant charges Smith with several breaking and entering charges, theft charges and CDS related charges. Smith was processed, served and taken to the Allegany County Detention Center where he was held without bail.

Charges: Breaking and Entering 1st and 2nd, Possession of marijuana, Possession with the intent to Distribute, 3 counts of Possession not marijuana, Possession of drug paraphernalia, Removing prescription labels and 3 counts of theft less than $1,000.
Arrest Warrant Served
On March 22, 2015 Cumberland City Police served an arrest warrant on Nicholas Craig Moreland, age 24 of Cumberland, Maryland. On March 22, 2015 officers from the Cumberland City Police Department responded to 422 Grand Avenue Apartment #2 for a domestic assault complaint. During an investigation into the matter officers learned from the victim that Nicholas Moreland shoved her and grabbed her by the hair dragging her across the floor. Officers were unable to make an arrest at the time of the incident but transported the victim to District Court to file charges. Once a warrant was issued for the arrest of Moreland, he was taken into custody. Moreland was processed, served and taken before the District Court Commissioner. Moreland was held in the county jail on a temporary commitment.
