On 03/10/15 Cumberland Police Officers served an Arrest Warrant on Perry Hamilton Jr. The warrant stemmed from an incident that occurred in January of 2015 at a residence on Virginia Avenue in Cumberland. Subjects were seen entering a Virginia Avenue residence and removing items that did not belong to them. After investigating the matter Officers were able to identify Perry Hamilton Jr. as one of the subjects that entered the residence without permission and removed the items. The items were then stolen from the residence and later sold by Hamilton Jr. Hamilton Jr. was placed under arrest without incident and transported to the Cumberland Police Department. He was then processed and taken to the Allegany County District Court Commissioners Office. He was then transported to the Allegany County Detention Center and held without bond.

Charges: Burglary-First Degree, Theft:$10,000 to under $100,000, Burglary-Fourth Degree of a dwelling, Conspiracy to commit Burglary-First Degree and Conspiracy to commit Theft:$10,000 to under $100,00.
Domestic Assault Arrest
On 03/10/15 Cumberland Police responded to a Pennsylvania Avenue residence for a report of an Assault. Upon their arrival the Officers spoke to the victim. She stated her boyfriend, Joshua Baker, had been drinking heavily and had been punching and shaking her all day. The victim had lacerations on the inside of her lip as a result of being punched by Baker. Baker was located on the property, placed under arrest without incident and transported to the Cumberland Police Department. He was then processed and taken to the Allegany County District Court Commissioners Office. He was then transported to the Allegany County Detention Center pending a bond hearing.
