On 02/10/15 a Cumberland Police Officer served an Arrest Warrant on Louis Levi Brown. The warrant stemmed from an incident that occurred on 02/05/15 on Oak Street in Cumberland. Brown was in an apartment on Oak Street when he allegedly assaulted the resident of the apartment and her nine year old son. The resident did not receive any injuries as a result of the assault. The child had redness on his face as a result of the assault. The resident told Brown to leave and he left. The Police were later called and paperwork was filed at District Court for Brown. Brown was arrested without incident and transported to the Cumberland Police Department for processing. He was then taken to the Allegany County District Court Commissioner’s Office and then committed to the Allegany County Detention Center on $12,500 bond.
On 02/10/15 a Cumberland Police Officer served an Arrest Warrant on Clarissa Robey. The warrant stemmed from an incident on 02/09/15. On 02/09/15 Robey had been arrested for an on view Breaking and Entering of a residence on Shades Lane in Cumberland. Robey was taken to the District Court Commissioner’s Office for her bond hearing. After being told she would be committed to the Allegany County Detention Center, Robey began screaming and got up from her chair and attempted to leave the building. A Cumberland Police Officer was able to prevent her from leaving the building and escorted her to the transport van. Robey continued to yell and then refused to enter the transport van. She was assisted into the transport van and while being placed in the van she kicked the Officer in the chest several times. She was then transported to the Detention Center. The Officer filed charges at District Court and an Arrest Warrant was issued. Robey was arrested without incident and transported to the Cumberland Police Department for processing. She was taken to the Allegany County District Court Commissioner’s Office and committed to the Allegany County Detention Center on $5,000 bond.
Charges: Second Degree Assault, Attemtped Escape in Second Degree, Obstructing and Hindering and Obstructing Justice.
