While on patrol an officer observed a vehicle being operated with expired registration.  The vehicle was stopped and the operator Tyler Johnson was contacted.  While talking with the operator the officer observed the operator along with one occupant identified as Tyler Deetz acting in a nervous and evasive manner.  A K-9 scan was requested of the vehicle.  The K-9 provided a positive alert for the presence of narcotics inside of the vehicle.  The occupants of the vehicle were removed and searched with nothing located on their persons.  After Deetz was removed from the vehicle a hypodermic syringe was located in plain view by his seat.  The syringe had what appeared CDS in it ready for injection along with other drug paraphernalia by it.  Deetz was placed under arrest and transported to PH.  It was also determined that Johnson’s privilege to drive in the state of West Virginia was currently suspended.  He was also placed under arrest and transported to PH.  At PH both subjects were processed and charged.
