Friday afternoon just before 4, the Cumberland City Police Department responded to the 300 block of Williams Street for a motor vehicle crash.  Upon the officers arrival they learned that a juvenile left the sidewalk which is a place of safety without yielding to vehicular traffic and ran into the side of an SUV while it was motion.  As a result of the accident, the juvenile was transported to the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
