On 11.13.2019 at approximately 1:00 AM, Deputies of the Allegany County Sheriff's Office responded to the LaVale Walmart for a report of a person carrying a handgun.
Deputies made contact with the person and observed a 1911 style pistol in a holster on the subject's hip. The subject relinquished his firearm without incident. During the course of the investigation it was learned that the firearm, a loaded 45 caliber pistol, was reported stolen in West Virginia. Deputies arrested 34 year old Jason Robert Malcolm of Springfield, WV. A search of Robert incident to arrest revealed a container containing approximately 4 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine "meth".
During the course of the interview deputies also made contact with the Robert's wife, 34 year old Stacey Lynn Malcolm, who was found to be in possession of a concealed loaded 38 caliber revolver.
Additional paraphernalia and narcotic prescription pills were located in the Malcolm's vehicle.
Both Robert and Stacey Malcolm were arrested and held at the Allegany County Detention Center pending an initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner.

Did wear and carry a loaded handgun
Did possess a stolen regulated firearm
Did possess a schedule II CDS
Did possess a schedule III CDS x 2
Did possess drug paraphernalia
Stacey charges:
Did wear a loaded handgun on person
Did wear and carry a loaded handgun
Did conceal a dangerous weapon about their person
