My freshman son has stopped riding his bus home from Allegany High School to our home in LaVale because the bus is overcrowded. This just surfaced upon the conclusion of soccer season, as he was staying after school every night for practice/games. Apparently it’s not a problem in the mornings, so it makes me wonder if more parents are dropping off kids at school. He also stated that he ‘heard’ two buses were consolidated. Regardless, it is an inconvenience as well as a huge safety concern.
