Maryland Comptroller Peter Franchot announced that his office has processed more than 1.1 million individual income tax returns for 2018. The one-millionth electronic return was submitted by a Frederick County tax filer. The deadline to file is just about a month away. Almost 95 percent of the returns were filed electronically.
