At least one person was killed and five others were hospitalized after an explosion in northwest Baltimore destroyed three rowhomes Monday.
Special operations units have been searching for others who may be trapped under the rubble. Medic units and Baltimore County Fire Department units have been called to assist.
A gas leak is believed to be the cause of the explosion, which caused the rowhomes to collapse, while debris blew out windows and doors in at least 16 nearby homes.
The fatality was an adult woman who has not been identified.
