WCBC News has learned of a barricade situation in the area of Little Orleans. Maryland State Police responded to the scene early Friday morning in regards to a domestic situation between a husband and wife. Shots were fired and the wife fled the home while the husband remained inside. Cumberland City Police were called in to assist with the situation as well as the CERT Team. Police made entry into the home several hours later and more shots were fired which according to reports struck two Maryland State Troopers. Injuries are reported to be minor. The suspect is not in custody at this time and the situation is ongoing. WCBC News will have more information as it becomes available…

The suspect has reportedly been killed according to Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan and the injured Maryland State Troopers are being transported to Shock Trauma in Baltimore with non-life threatening injuries.
