The Cumberland TImes News reports an Oakland woman wanted on an arrest warrant for identify theft and fraudulently using another person's credit card turned herself in to the Garrett County Sheriff’s Office on Friday, according to Detective Mark Pfaff. The warrant stemmed from a three-month investigation by sheriff’s detectives and resulted in Amy Michelle Zimmerman, 42, being charged with numerous counts of illegal credit card use and identify theft. Authorities allege the card was used multiple times at a variety of locations to make payments on personal accounts totaling more than $1,000. The use of the card took place from December 2014 to January 2015. Zimmerman is at the Garrett County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
