Just after 8:00 PM Saturday evening, a person was found unresponsive near Cabin Run Road on Vale Summit.

Allegany County 911 confirmed to WCBC that the person was declared dead, after a response of several agencies including police, fire and EMS.  Route 36 was closed for a period of time during the initial response. 

The Maryland Natural Resources Police is heading the investigation into the death.
