Putting the onus squarely on the shoulders of the county commissioners, the Allegany County Board of Education agreed Tuesday to move forward with the new Allegany High School project- although that will require further signicant county funding. The board voted to authorize staff and design consultants to issue a post-bid addendum and request new bids from the five original bidders. The board also will consider, at its November meeting, a motion to rescind the original approved project. By taking that action, an additional $10 million in state dollars will be available for the new school- bring the state commitment to $36 million. The county will be asked to supply the rest
