Cumberland Mayor Ray Morriss on Tuesday strongly criticized a city council candidate who he believes is disseminating false or misleading information during campaign appearances on local radio. The mayor’s comments came during the city’s work session which featured a discussion on ways to better promote the status of various city projects as well as other city related efforts. Without naming the candidate, Mayor Morriss pointed to critical comments made about the city’s code enforcement operations, saying they are completely without merit…

Morriss has taken a page from the Trump playbook with the cry of fake news. Brilliant minds think alike and then there’s those two.
Did the City let it’s contract with McClarran & Williams lapse? They were supposed to be handling PR for the City and putting lipstick on the pig.

> Mac why are you always so negative? Do you ever have anything positive to say? If you don’t like living here, MOVE. It’s that simple. I’m sure you can find a nice home in Portland or Seattle. You like to use your first amendment right and trash our President without offering any solutions. You are a blowhard sheep who will blindly follow Joe Biden off a cliff if he told you to jump off of it. Joe Biden has stated he will raise taxes, put coal miners out of work, take our guns, and fund abortion. Any christian who believes abortion is okay is not a christian at all! Socialism in America is not acceptable. If you want nice things work for them! Don’t suck on the government teet because you are to damn lazy to get a job.

Dan, why do you consistently insult, degrade, and name-call people who don’t think the way you do? Does it make you feel better? David Dennison, AKA Individual #1, has taught you well.

Also Dan, Steve Bannon – one of Trump’s chief advisors – has been indicted for fraudulently taking donated money to build the wall and putting it in his own pocket. Why was he raising money to build the wall? I thought Mexico was going to pay for it. And Dan, you realize that the vast majority of the wall that Trump has built is not new wall. It replaced wall that was already there. Facts matter Dan.

> Steve Bannon has taken over the role of the TV evangelist. Send me money (through go fund me) and we will keep the brown people out of white Murica with a wall.
Jim and Tammy Fay, and the rest of those carnival pitchmen promised your ‘donation’ would get you to Heaven.
Either way those oily hucksters took peoples money under false pretenses.
No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public.

> Just correcting you. Should have read the entire story. Bannon didn’t steal any money for himself. He gave it to the head of the organization when he agreed not to. Just making sure you have the correct facts.

> I’m not sure how the border wall even fits in to the conversation, or Steve Bannon. Also Jay, if you want to throw stones don’t forget Obama aide Greg Craig who was charged with lying to a grand jury. And don’t forget former Obama advisor Robert Decheine, who was arrested for soliciting sex with a minor. Or Obama Secretary of State Hillary CLinton, who has a trail of skulls following her, and also left four men for dead in Benghazi. So don’t think Obama was squeaky clean Jay. Lest we not forget Eric Holder and Fast and Furious which resulted in the death of a Border Patrol Agent. And Jay, I could go on!

It would be impossible to insult you Jay, as I’m sure all of the worthwhile ones have already been used on you. By the way, every time you speak you insult all readers with your nonsense. What would make me feel better, and probably you as well, is if you started thinking for yourself and stopped acting like a mindless sheep waiting for the government to feed you your daily information.

I can copy and paste too Dan.
Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort is presently serving a 7.5-year sentence after being convicted of tax and banking crimes. Trump political Svengali Roger Stone was convicted on seven counts tied to lying to Congress about the nature of his ties to WikiLeaks. (His sentence was commuted by Trump last month.) Trump foreign policy adviser and top campaign surrogate Michael Flynn pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about the nature of his contacts with Russians during the transition. (In May, the Justice Department announced it was dropping the case against Flynn.) Former Trump lawyer and fixer Michael Cohen pleaded guilty in 2018 to tax fraud, lying to Congress and campaign finance violations. (Cohen is currently under home confinement after being transferred from prison amid coronavirus concerns.)

Didnt Ray Morriss denounce the previous administration for responding to this kind of thing and getting involved in back and forths? Now hes doing it too. It seems like Morriss cant stick to any of his campaign pledges.
