On the final day of the 2014 session, the Maryland General Assembly gave Governor Martin O’Malley what he wanted…a bill that increases the state’s minimum wage to 10.10 an hour over time.
There was one last push by Republicans to oppose the measure. This is Delegate Warren Miller, talking about what happens when someone gets a better paycheck through a raise in the minimum wage.
Governor O’Malley is expected to sign the bill into law very quickly.
