Maryland House Speaker Michael E. Busch says that although he did experience some health problems during the General Assembly session- he is feeling good and has no plans to slow down anytime soon. In December Busch was treated by a doctor after a prescription caused gastrointestinal bleeding; and there were some other minor illnesses during the 90 day session. Busch, the longest-serving speaker in Maryland history having replaced Casper Taylor in 2002, said he appreciated that "many people have expressed concern for my health over the past few months, but offered assurances that he is doing well….
