Maryland's Budget Secretary David Brinkley tells WCBC News he believes the state's decision to committ to salvaging the Footer Dye Works building rather than allowing it to be demolished has proven to be a wise investment. Brinkeley, a member of the Canal Place Task Force, has visited the Footer building many times during it's renovation in the past few years. He says while the commercial aspect of the project has not yet played out- the luxury loft apartments are a tremendous hit- and ultimately the once dilapidated structure will serve as a major drawing card for the region…
