Delegate 1C representative Mike McKay told Cumberland officials this week that the local delegation will be working with the Maryland Municipal League during the upcoming General Assembly session to secure funding for the Main Street Maryland program. That program is a comprehensive downtown revitalization effort created in 1998 by the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development.
