Three candidates have now filed to run for mayor of Cumberland in next year’s election- but the incumbent has not yet decided his future plans. Mayor Brian Grim tells WCBC News he isn’t certain at this point whether or not to seek another term. The first to file for mayor was longtime area businessman George Merling. Among other ventures, Merling is one of the owners of a planned medical marijuana facility to open in Cumberland.
