The Opioid Operational Command Center announced the Inter-Agency Heroin and Opioid Coordinating Council will meet on Wednesday, March 20, 2019, from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Governor’s Reception Room in the Maryland State House, 100 State Circle, Annapolis, Maryland 21401. Governor Larry Hogan created the council through executive order in February 2015. It meets on a quarterly basis to share information from across Maryland state agencies to better coordinate the state’s response to fighting the heroin and opioid epidemic. Before It’s Too Late is the state’s effort to bring awareness to this epidemic and to mobilize resources for effective prevention, treatment, and recovery.
