Maryland's economy ranks in the top 10. Maryland ranks eighth on a list compiled by 24/7 Wall St. based on an index comprising five measures: GDP growth, job growth, unemployment rate, poverty rate, and bachelor's degree attainment rate. Maryland Budget Secretary David Brinkley says creating a more business friendly atmosphere has been a priority of the Hogan administration from day one. Why would anybody bring a business to a state who changes the rules every 6 months as to what benefits you have to give your employees what you have to pay them when a neighboring state has none of these rules

Going on 4 decades in a downward spiral. Drive 90 minutes in any direction and comparable communities are doing fairly well. Morgantown, Altoona, Hagerstown, Winchester. Are their politicians better than ours?
