The Board of directors of The Maryland Salem Children's Trust met recently to discuss plans for the 22nd annual Outspokin’ Banquet on September 23rd at Bittinger Mennonite Church in Bittinger, Maryland. The 2017 Outspokin’ Fundraising Campaign is being chaired by board member Carolyn Harriger who says the silent auction and social hour begin at 5 pm followed by dinner at 6 pm. The dinner will be capped off by a program designed to educate the public on the mission of Salem and the unique challenges facing the 60 staff members of Salem who work with stedfast dedication to meet the needs of Salem Children.
Todd Mechem, Executive Director of Salem, announced corporate sponsors currently committed to the Outspokin’ Fundraising campaign. AES Warrior Run has committed to be the Lead Corporate Sponsor. Foreman Financial Group and Cornerstone Baptist Church have committed as Platinum Sponsors. Columbia Gas of Maryland has committed as a Gold Sponsor. Currently committed support at the silver level are Peterson Psychological Services and Chi Sigma Sorority Alpha Lambda.
Additional support is being sought through corporate sponsorship. Donations suitable for the silent auction are also needed.
