On June 18, 2019 officers from the Cumberland City Police Department responded to the Family Dollar located at 35 Queen City Drive for a disturbance. Upon the officers arrival they made contact with Jason Scroggins. During an investigation into the matter officers learned that Scroggins entered the store seeking employment. While inside the store, Scroggins was confronted by an employee about him using the computer to fill out the application. Scroggins began to argue with the employee and was asked to leave. Scroggins eventually left but began to argue with the employee outside the business. As a result of this matter Scroggins was issued a criminal citation for disorderly conduct. Scroggins was released at the scene pending a trial date in District Court.
Arrested: Jason Lawrence Scroggins Age: 42 of Cumberland, Maryland
Charge: Disorderly Conduct.
