Maryland Governor Larry Hogan on Thursday announced he will have skin cancer removed from his forehead this weekend. WBAL reports that in a press conference in Annapolis, he said that the cancer was detected in a routine PET scan, which he has every 90 days. He will undergo the procedure Saturday in an Annapolis dermatology office.

The governor said he expects to have a full schedule on Monday.
In 2015, Hogan underwent treatment for non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.
